STEVE - PT

I included myself here so that before considering training with me you know that I am not one of those 'fitness freaks' who has always been fit and doesn't understand the real world challenges that clients face.

​

Before I became a PT I was overweight, down the pub every night, smoking twenty a day, struggling with my job and was developing mental health issues. Not good. Something had to change.

​

Since making that decision I have worked hard on improving my physical and mental health and became a PT so that I can help you to do the same. I am 41 years old now and have been a PT for over 11 years so you can benefit from the wide range of experience I have gained with myself and many clients.

GABRIELA

Gabriela came to me wanting to increase her lifts for powerlifting. While we we working together she set many personal records on the three lifts and reached the standard required to compete at the national championships.

​

She also worked hard on her nutrition with my guidance, went down to a lower powerlifting weight category and got herself into amazing shape!

"Steve is a fantastic trainer & is one of the only PT’s that I trust! Steve’s made a huge difference to me in regards to my sport - as a boxer, weight training can often be frowned upon, but Steve has taught me the benefits of specific exercises to aid my performance in boxing and it’s improved my game massively. As well as weight training though, Steve’s training has included a variety of body weight exercises all which transfer through to my sport. Every session is challenging, but rewarding & I can’t thank Steve enough for all of the knowledge & confidence I’ve gained since training with him this year. Never before have I felt as fit, strong, confident or as happy as I am today! Thanks a lot Steve"

"Steve is fantastic! I started training with Steve last year, managing a busy job in London and keeping fit and healthy can be difficult. Steve was able to organise a diet and training plan for me to work around. We then went into lockdown. I maintained the program we set out. With his guidance and constant motivation, I’m happy to say I have reached my goal but I couldn’t of done it with out him. Thank you Steve!"

Jon Pybus is a former elite mountain bike racer. During the time I trained him, Jon was a GT Bicycles factory sponsored rider. He was one of the top cross country racers in the UK, raced internationally and won the British National Student Championship using my training programmes. He has since gone on to compete in the World Sky Running Championships.

Working with Steve has single handedly been the best decision I've ever made for my future in powerlifting and strength sports. He has put 40kg on my squat, 15kg on my bench, 35kg on my deadlift, taken me to 2nd place in my first national competition and has constantly pushed me to become a better more well rounded competitor. 
It's rare to find a coach as good as Steve. He has more faith in me then I have in myself, he pushes me, drives me to be better every day. He's driven half way across the country to support me in competitions. He puts up with my moaning messages about feeling tired, and puts me back on the right path when I have a wobble. He's not only a coach but truly a great friend and I am forever grateful for all his support. 
If you want to get stronger, lose weight, gain weight or just generally feel a bit fitter you can't go wrong with Steve.

KATE

I have been training with Steve for 5 years now, in which time I’ve dropped almost a 3rd of my body weight (from 196lbs to 143lbs and still going: dropping from a size 18 to a size 10) dramatically increased my strength and even competed in my first two strong woman competitions (placing third in my very first comp!) 

I would not have achieved all this without Steve’s support, motivational encouragement, and sometimes brutal honesty (and kicks up the a**e) along with his focused programming and constant focus on learning and developing (both through his own training and that of his clients) 

I am stronger physically and mentally and look at training, and nutrition in a very different way now... and I know I would never have got here without Steve. So if you’re looking for a strength / body (and fitness) transformation coach, he’s your man. 

I look forward to continuing my journey with him... here’s to my final 10lbs of weight loss and to getting super lean
